Toxins and anti-toxins and their elimination
A doctor should be called immediately and shown to the
person who is poisoned and the poison that has been ingested or may have been
eaten should be reported to the doctor. If the poison has gone into the
stomach, then after consulting the doctor, measures should be taken to empty
the stomach.
Some common poisons and their remedies
Alcohol:
Vomiting and washing the stomach completely, drinking
coffee, keeping the body cool and head warm and aromatic spirits of ammonia
should be taken.
Acids (Hydrochloric, Nitric and Sulfuric):
Consumption of sweeteners such as ammonia, baking powder,
magnesia, chalk, lime water and soapy water.
Prussic Acid:
It is a very toxic acid. Abdominal lavage, inhalation of
ammonia nitrite as well as intravenous injection of sodium nitrite and sodium
thiosulfate, intravenous injection of methylene, etc.
C arbolic acid:
Consumption of soluble sulfate, light alcohol, raw egg or
plain water.
Alkali:
Dilute acid, intake of 2 to 3% acetic acid, vinegar, lemon
juice. Consumption of edible oil, ghee, milk, cream and other sedative fluids.
Alkaloids (cocaine, aconite, belladonna, strychnine, opium
morphine, tobacco and nicotine): rinsing the stomach with a solution of potash
permanganate (1:1000) by pump; artificial respiration or oxygen respiration,
drinking coffee without milk, intake of central system stimulants; Keeping the
body warm and control of excitation by barbiturates.
Mercury (bichloride of mercury, mercuric chloride,
vermilion, hingul):
washing with sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate; Vomiting
within 10 minutes; Consumption of egg whites and milk Consumption of sodium
lactate.
Sankhiya (many insecticidal drugs contain arsenic):
Adequate intake by the tube into the stomach, or intravenous injection of sodium thiosulfate solution.
Tutia:
washing the stomach with a pump; Consumption of water mixed
with milk, egg white, soap, and flour.
Lead :
copious rinsing, drinking Epsom salts; Consumption of egg
whites and milk; Consumption of flour water.
Iodine (tincture of iodine):
Washing the stomach with a pump, making vomit; Consumption
of thick paste of flour.
Phosphorus (matching):
Washing the stomach with a solution of mild potash
permanganate or hydrogen peroxide. Consumption of milk, oil or ghee is
prohibited in this. Consumption of half a teaspoon of turpentine with milk or
water, intake of flour, Epsom salt or machinacea.
Antimony:
Treatment should be done like mercury, milk and eggs should
be consumed.
ptomaine venom:
The poison produced by the rotting of fish and meat is
called tomen. This toxin is also sometimes found in canned meat and fish. A
strong laxative (Ipsum salt, castor oil, etc.) is necessary to eliminate this
poison. Taking enemas with little turpentine mixed, or soapy water.
Silver Poison:
Abundant intake of salty water; Consumption of milk, soap
and baking soda.
Vegetable Poison:
It has no antidote. Stimulant and laxative should be taken
and vomited.
Mushroom :
Abdominal lavage with a pump; keep the abdomen warm;
Consumption of hard coffee and then castor oil.
Gas:
Some gases are poisonous. The person suffering from gas
should be given artificial respiration, keeping the body warm, drinking coffee
and enema in the open air.
