The Laws of Nature and The Five Elements
Living a healthy life has become a
challenge in today's hectic life. In this, the role of improper eating and
living is prominent, although we can keep ourselves healthy with our daily
activities, but due to lack of health information, this is often not possible
and due to ignorance, man behaves in this way. Which is unfavorable to nature
and in this way his health is affected. Who does not want to live a healthy
life and attain a long life, Jeevam Shardah expresses this concept of Shatam
Swasthya.
Man is the best creation of nature. A person who lives according to the laws of nature is always healthy. Some people have this misconception that natural life means living wildlife and consuming raw food items. In fact, the natural way of life is simpler, simpler, less expensive and useful to the common man. Naturopathy is not a medical system but an art of living which is also called as lifestyle.
According to the natural
law, the following things have been told to make life healthy-
Morning Walk:
Air is the basis of life. The body can remain healthy only when all the cells of the body are supplied with the necessary air. Morning air is most beneficial and healthy. Looking at the pure air early in the morning, there is plenty of oxygen in the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Contact with this vital oxygen through a morning walk is much healthier than a nutritious meal. Keeping the lungs clean and active is an important process for cleaning various organs of the human body. By breathing air enters the lungs, from which the lungs absorb the vital elements and the unnecessary elements left by the lungs are thrown out. That's why morning walk is necessary. But today no one has time to walk in the morning and at the same time the pure air is decreasing due to polluted environment, so it is not surprising to have diseases.
Ushapan (drinking water rules):
By drinking water according to the natural
laws, the work of cleaning the body goes on smoothly. Drinking water in the
morning is essential for both body and mind, but today morning tea has become a
trend and is being used to quench thirst, resulting in various blood related
and digestive disorders.
Rules for Meal:
Diet is an important cornerstone of a healthy life. According to the natural law, the consumption of natural fresh food, salad, green vegetables, sprouted grains etc. purifies the blood and increases energy. Today the habit of unnatural food, spicy bitter sour non-vegetarian food, junk food is increasing. Vegetarian diet is necessary if diseases are to be removed. There should be a fixed time for taking food, only then the food is beneficial for the body. And at the time of meal, one should eat with a calm mind. But today most of the time is spent in eating fast. Due to which proper enzymes are not available for digestion with food. For this reason, most of the humans today are suffering from stomach diseases. For this it is necessary to adopt the natural law and get rid of the disease.
Rules for Rest:
Rest means rest after work, after working
hard all day when a person feels physically tired then he should take rest.
Relaxation is to remove the tiredness of the body and the power of the mind or
the rest of the body and mind for some time. But today when we take rest, at
that time we forget the mental state of relaxation. Even in the lying position
of the bed, tension remains in our body especially in the brain, which is due
to restlessness of the mind. This is not rest, like a child lying comfortably
on a bed resting the body, mind, that is true relaxation. Rest is needed only
to get back the energy lost in hard work. In the language of Naturopathy, it is
called Health Oriented Dysfunction.
Sleep rules:
Sleep is a kind of subtle bath, which brings freshness or vigor to the human body and is a means of recovering the energy expended in work. The natural rule is to sleep early at night and get up early in the morning. This keeps the body healthy. But today people have become habit that they stay up till late night and sleep till late at night. Due to which sleep is not complete and due to less sleep, the amount of alcohol in the blood increases. As a result, many diseases occur. According to Dr. Nathalin- Insomnia is the first symptom of insanity, if it is not treated on time then it can cause high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, diabetes, irritability etc.
Positive Thoughts:
There is also a need for a rule regarding
purity of thoughts to be healthy. Physiology has proved that to keep the body
healthy, it is necessary to have predictive thinking of human thoughts, it
should always have a positive attitude. Because feelings and thoughts have
energy, so we should work by giving new direction to our thoughts. Today people
are adopting negative attitude. Instead of helping others, he thinks of doing
harm. As a result, their own thinking style gets corrupted. Negative thoughts
increase negativity and get carried away by positive thoughts.
Working Rules:
The natural way of life determines the timing of each action. It advises to have a sense of mutual love, cooperation and intimacy at the workplace. A person can work with a true heart at the place where he has prestige. The atmosphere should be calm and there should be opportunities for advancement. Today all these reasons are becoming lacking. Every moment a person is worried, afraid and suspicious. He takes pride in not completing his tasks and deceiving others.
Rules of Social and Ethical Behavior:
Man should keep himself under control in
all circumstances, happiness and sorrow, profit and loss. As far as possible,
serving man should be considered as our religion. You should respect your
parents, elders, guru etc. Don't be too selfish. One should believe in simple
living and high thinking. One should believe in the truth and always have good
company. But today these rules are being violated, so the world is becoming
pathetic, both body and mind are becoming unhealthy as the result will be the
same as the background.
Basis of Nature – Panchatattva (The Five Elements)
The human body is made up of five elements
- earth, water, air, fire and ether. The description of these five great
elements is found from place to place. Like it is written in Tulsikar Ramayana-
'Kshiti Jal Pavan Gagan Sameera.’ This inferior body composed by Pancha. That
is, this physical body is made up of five elements. These are natural remedies.
Four of these elements, earth, water, air and fire, fall under the category of
food. And the fifth element is obtained from sky fasting. The major element in
the structure of the body is ether, and its important role in enhancing
vitality can be seen. It is clearly stated in ancient Indian scriptures and
scriptures that air from sky, fire from air, water from fire and earth from
water. The elements of soil, water, air and fire are directly reflected in the
formation of the body. Whereas very useful and influential sky element
indirectly makes the body pure, pure and longevity. as long as these five
elements are properly
The balance is maintained, till then the
person remains healthy, here these five great elements are being described
separately.
1. Earth Elements:
Man has originated from this element, that
is why the earth is called mother. It is related to water, air, fire and sky.
All the food items for human life, be it cereals or various types of fruits and
vegetables or milk given by animals, curd-butter etc. are all due to this. The
relationship between the earth element (soil) and man is eternal, so soil is
essential for life. It has many properties. Clay is the best thing to remove
odor. Soil has unlimited power to hold cold and heat. Due to its unique
dissolving ability, keeping the clay at its highest boil cooks, drains and even
heals wounds. Soil has the ability to absorb toxins. It has the ability to cure
diseases, because all things in the world, chemical mixtures are mixed in the
soil, whereas no mixture of medicines can contain so many chemical elements.
2. Water element:
Water is the basis of all beings. It is a
priceless medicine for all beings. Every animal and every plant have sufficient
amount of water. Because any physical activity, be it digestion of food,
circulation of blood, cannot be possible without this substance. It is an essential
element of the world, which contains infinite power and has been used by man in
various ways. Water has been used as a medicine since the beginning of
creation. If a person keeps on making proper and balanced use of pure water
then he can live long and healthy using full strength, vigor and health.
3. Fire element:
Agni refers to heat or sun, without which
life cannot be imagined. This must have been the meaning of worshiping the sun
in the scriptures. Because all the substances of the universe are produced by
different types of combination of Sun and Rashmi. It has healing power. It is
said that where sunlight does not enter, the doctor enters. There is fact in
this saying because the germs of disease grow only in darkness, light is time
for them. The prana in the body is transmitted through sunlight. Sun rays and
colored radiation therapy have proved to be very beneficial in various
diseases.
4. Air element:
Air is the basic basis of life. Without it
a person can survive for only a few minutes. Therefore, the purification of
life-giving air is more important and necessary than the purification of food
and water. With the help of air, the lungs purify the blood. It is also used in
healing work. To remove the disease, healing work is done by throwing cold hot air
on the body through air baths and mantras. These two forms of morning
excursion, evening excursion, air bath is very beneficial.
5. Sky Elements:
The sky element is the fifth, but the main
element. Akash means emptiness or emptiness. As the fish is in the water and
the water is in the fish, so man is in the sky and the sky is in the man.
Nature has created the sky as an empty space inside the human body. There are
innumerable living cells within the body, which are on the move. Space is
needed in the body for blood circulation and air circulation. That is why the
importance of fasting has been told in all religions. Because by fasting one
attains the sky element.
For the treatment of human diseases, it is
necessary to know which element is more effective in which part of the body. If
the naturopathic doctor comes to know about this, then he will be 100 percent
successful in making a treatment plan.
