One of the most important and essential for
the protection of physical health is its diet. Food is the basis of life.
Natural food is best for human body. Unless man adopts natural diet, it is
impossible for him to remain healthy. Fruits, milk, vegetables, grains are the
natural food of man.
Diet and Health:
Life depends on health.
Just as a machine requires fuel, so the health and longevity of the human
body's machine requires knowing what to eat and what not to eat. If the diet is
good, then a person cannot get any disease and his power can remain stable till
old age. Teeth and eyesight (Shakti) can remain fine till the last breath. Diet
has a great impact on the human body. According to Dr. Ihrit, 99.9% of 100%
diseases arise from wrong diet, if you want to keep your health safe from
disease and live long, then natural diet and balanced diet should be taken.
The purpose of food is not to quench hunger
or satisfy the tongue, but to nourish the body as well as enhance mental and
spiritual health, as body, mind and spirit are the three pillars of health.
Unless all three are healthy, there can be no period of perfect health. In
Indian scriptures, food is divided into three parts. Sattvik, Rajasic and
Tamasic. Those who want good health physically, mentally and spiritually, they
should take a sattvic diet. Those whose aim is to remain healthy both
physically and mentally, then eat Rajasik food. When the diet is pure, the mind
is purified, one has control over his senses and concentration comes. Healthy
food for the body is that which gives strength to the body, removes decay,
produces proper heat, is digestible, is not stimulating and increases memory
power, age, sattva, courage, kindness, cooperation etc.
Diet Therapy:
Diet is the life of every living being and diet is directly related to its physical and mental health. Different nutrients are present in each food and each nutrient acts differently in the body. If every person starts taking less of some nutrients or more of some nutrients on the contrary, even then its opposite effect starts appearing in the body. Therefore, in order to remain completely healthy, it is necessary to consume the right amount of nutrients through food.
Natural diets are generally divided into three parts.
1. Cleansing food-
Lemon juice, raw coconut water, vegetable soup, buttermilk etc. are food purifying agents.
2. Peaceful food-
Fruits, salads, stead vegetables, sprouted grain chutney, vegetables etc. are calming foods.
3. Fortified diet -
Wholemeal flour, unpolished rice, pulses, sprouted grains, curd etc. Due to the alkaline nature of this diet, it helps in purification of the body, free from disease and increase immunity.
There is a need to mix diets among themselves. To be
healthy, our food should be 20 percent acidic and 80 percent alkaline.
Therefore, diet is considered the basic medicine in naturopathy.
Natural Diet
Diet is the first place for health because the diet taken gets converted into seven dhatus (Rasa, Blood, Meat, Fat, Bone, Marrow and Semen) and nourishes the body, replenishes strength. Natural diet makes the body and a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.
Natural
foods are good for health. When health deteriorates, nature's food acts as the
best medicine. Various types of salts and vitamins are found in them, which
remove diseases and remove bad elements from the body. Natural foods can be
divided into two categories. Which removes the deformed element and maintains
the energy of the other body. Vegetables and fruits are the best foods to
remove spoilage from the body. On the second level, milk is such a natural food
